Grow Where You Know
We proudly grow all of our mushrooms in the small town of Whites Creek, Tennessee. An ideal place for cultivation of any kind, we produce fresh mushrooms, grow kits, pre-inoculated logs, and compost.
Sustainability, Conservation, and Awareness
Aside from our delicious, healthy mushrooms, one of the things we’re most proud of is our circular production model built to minimize waste by upcycling agricultural byproducts.
Mushroom production at our farm relies heavily on hardwoods. We love trees as much as we love mushrooms and know the importance of giving back to nature in the same way she provides. Helping the Nashville Tree Conservation Corps raise funds to advocate for our tree canopy brings our farm one step closer to closing our production loop while simultaneously providing trees for future generations to enjoy.
In addition to our sustainability efforts, we also work with national conservation groups like NRCS (Natural Resources Conservation Service) and SARE (Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education) to rebuild natural habitats and through tincture sales, donate money to the Johns Hopkins Center for Psychedelic and Consciousness Research and other top-tier medical facilities on the psychedelic benefits mushrooms impart to mental health.
Social Causes
Inherent to our mission and our purpose, all of our practices revolve around sustainability, conservation, and awareness. Every HENOSIS purchase supports the greater good of bettering our personal, environmental, and communal health.
In the same way we are interconnected by our mind, body, and spirit, we are also connected interdependently. With mushrooms, we seek to bring balance and unity to your person, your home, and your world.
As we like to say here at HENOSIS, “Fungi are profoundly generous.” Their benefits to us and the planet are immense. Mirroring their roles in nature, brimming with antioxidants, B and D vitamins, and beta-glucans, as with plants, they provide us with nutrients, biologically diverse microbiomes, neurogenesis (root-like networks) for our minds. This kingdom provides numerous ways for our bodies, minds, and environments to remain healthy.
