Mushroom Farm Tour: BEHIND THE SCENES AT A GOURMET FUNGI FARM

HENOSIS is a gourmet mushroom farm located just north of Nashville, in Joelton, Tennessee. On our Mushroom Farm Tour, you’ll learn all about fungi, our regenerative vision, how to grow mushrooms at home, AND how we make our mushroom-based products (such as our mushroom extracts and mushroom compost.) As the first gourmet mushroom farm in Middle Tennessee, our team has over a decade of experience in growing fungi and improving our community through offering healthy local options to unite the mind, body, and spirit.

The farm is easily accessible from the city via ride share services, and also have ample free parking. We are located next door to Joelton Hardware, which is a great place to stop after the tour for a drink and some live entertainment!

What’s included in the HENOSIS Mushroom Farm Tour?

We’ll start by getting up close and personal with a plethora of gourmet mushrooms. You’ll learn the secrets of growing the finest mushrooms from the team at HENOSIS, and all about our vision of creating a regenerative farm to build a better world from the ground up. Chart a mushroom’s growth progress from inoculation to the fruiting chamber, and see how we create our own nutritious plant-based mushrooms substrate for our fungi to feast on.

During the tour, you’ll have the opportunity to taste delicious freshly cured mushroom jerky and bring back stories (and possibly a mushroom grow kit or extract) for your friends.

If you have some extra time, finish off the tour with a drink at a beloved local bar Joelton Hardware, taking in some of the wonderful Nashville music at a true hidden gem of Middle Tennessee.
